Discipline is important to maintain a healthy environment for learning. There are two "Laws" the students must follow: They should behave in accordance to the school-wide rules, and they should be where they are supposed to be at the time they are supposed to be there.
When students fail to comply with the classroom law, they will receive a citation. They fill out the citation, and I place it in a file. After six citations, the student receives a detention. At the end of each quarter, the citations are thrown out, and the student starts fresh.
